The Sweet From The Source packaging design was developed specifically for the Canadian market, emphasizing naturalness, quality, and sustainability. The organic dried fruit series—free from added sugar and gluten—targets health-conscious consumers seeking clean-label products as well as those preferring modern and practical packaging formats.
The design objectives included creating a clean and trustworthy visual identity that highlights organic and additive-free positioning; using vibrant yet natural color coding to differentiate apricot, fig, and date variants; and developing an informative and functional layout through icons, slogans, and nutritional highlights.
Premium perception was reinforced with product photography, minimalist graphic elements, soft typography, and textured backgrounds. Canadian healthy food consumption trends were analyzed to ensure the packaging language communicates transparency, quality, and shelf distinction.
In developed markets like Canada, health-conscious consumers prioritize transparency, ingredient simplicity, and sustainability. Packaging must clearly communicate product integrity while delivering a premium yet approachable experience.
For Sweet From The Source, the design translates organic purity and clean-label positioning into a contemporary visual system. Natural color palettes, clear nutritional messaging, and direct product visibility build trust at first glance.
Recognized with the Silver Award in the Graphic Design Category at the 2020 Crescents and Stars for Packaging Awards, the project demonstrates how strategic packaging design can successfully position a brand within a competitive international market.
